In 2013 …
Amanda’s dad, Stan, hired 20-year-old TJ as a bookkeeper for his business. At the time, career-focused TJ barely noticed Stan’s 16-year-old daughter, Amanda, who was equally uninterested. Yet, as the years passed, TJ’s relationship with the Brady’s kept them in each other’s orbits.
Fast forward to August 2021 …
Amanda, seeking a break from New York City life, was visiting family in Cleveland. The Brady’s attended Tennis in the Land in Cleveland, with Stan inviting his favorite child (TJ) to join them. Though they had met eight years prior, this encounter felt different. As they watched the matches, a spark of interest ignited between them.
What began as a chance encounter soon blossomed into regular trips between Cleveland and the Big Apple. They explored new restaurants, enjoyed Broadway shows, went to plenty of Cleveland sporting events, embarked on a quest to find the perfect New York slice, and spent quality time with family and friends.
Eventually, Amanda took a leap of faith, bidding farewell to her life in New York to start a life with TJ in Cleveland. Their apartment has become the backdrop for over two years of laughter, growth, and exploring Cleveland together.
On a summer evening, July 21st 2023 …
TJ proposed to Amanda on the docks of the Shoreby Club. It seemed fitting that the same, meaningful spot would be the location for their wedding celebration on July 19th 2025, two years later.
From an unexpected connection to a lifetime commitment, Amanda and TJ’s journey is just beginning. They’re excited to share their special day with all of you, as they begin the next chapter of their story together.
